Lindon SAMM

We are extremely proud of the results we have achieved this year in carcase comps; second in the heavy lamb class at this years EKKA. In the sale yards; breaking the QLD lamb price record of $168, and on the rail; $132 ave for all lambs sold.
The adaptability and versatility of the SAMM speaks for itself with Lindon Samm selling rams in 2009 from Richmond in Queensland south to Cressy in Tasmania and almost everywhere in between. To those of you who don’t know us or our sheep our motto is “what you see is what you get”. All our sheep are untouched, untreated and not force fed so you as the clients don’t get any surprises. Our focus remains on producing rams ready to work offering Meat and Wool opportunities.

As stated in previous years we remain committed to providing as much info and assistance to the marketing of our clients lambs; either store or finished, and wool. We are excited to release our latest EMarketing network. Those of you who are interested please send us an email or ask us on sale day for details. All it involves is to use the data base of clients we now have, to market their products quickly and effectively via email to as many customers as possible. We have had a great response to this so far!

After a year full of achievements and accolades for the SAMM breed 2010 is upon us. The year all of
our (SAMM breeders) planets align. By this I mean;

Record lamb prices, Record low ewe numbers in Australia, and The 2010 Mulesing deadline

These three points only spell more money to those of you breeding SAMMs. The SAMM is now recognisedas a true prime lamb. The record low numbers of breeding ewes in Australia can only be good for breeders using SAMM rams as they are a true self replacing maternal meat sheep with Merino wool.

And last but by no means least, the 2010 Mulesing deadline. By using Lindon Samm genetics you will negate the need for mulesing faster than using any other Merino based breed.
